Description

In Early American days before kerosene, camphene lamps provided light and fragrance. Camphene is an explosive mixture of turpentine and alcohol, with camphor oil added for fragrance. We recommend using today’s lamp oil, which will burn much more safely! The burner that holds the wick can be unscrewed to replace lamp oil and wicking. Use caution when burning!

Perfect for rustic Early American decor, outdoor lighting, re-enactors and theater props.

– 7-1/4" in height, 4-1/2" in diameter
– Includes one piece of cotton wicking
– Burns lamp oil, available commercially
– Early American reproduction
– Use caution when burning!
