Description
This colonial-inspired writing desk combines practical workspace storage with a bold historic design. Crafted from solid teak wood and finished with natural beeswax, it functions as both a portable writing surface and an organized stationery box. The top features a striking printed sun design, adding character when displayed on a desk, table, or bookshelf.
The hinged, tapered lid opens to reveal interior storage sized for letters, papers, notebooks, and everyday correspondence supplies. Thoughtful cutouts include a fitted inkwell space, pen holder, and a traditional 1-1/4″ candle hole — details inspired by early American writing slopes used for home study, travel, and correspondence.
– Outside dimensions: 14-3/4″ x 12-1/4″w x 3-1/4″h, height tapers from 3-1/4″ to 2-1/4″
