This patriotic print featuring a late 18th century sailor’s woolie depicts several vignettes of well-known moments in Civil War history: The Battle of Mill Creek, the death of Colonel Ellsworth (the first Union solider killed in the Civil War), a monument from Charlestown, Massachusetts commemorating to the fallen heroes of Charlestown, and other patriotic images. This unique framed art is perfect for the antique and history lover, as well as for nautical, primitive, or Early American decor. The image is so detailed that it’s hard to tell that it is a print and not a genuine needlework piece.
This museum quality print is printed on satin finish photo paper using archival quality inks, and framed behind glass in our birch veneer wood frame. The back is finished with craft paper and a wire hanger. Handmade in the USA in our small Pennsylvania shop.
