Description
This darling illustration of the popular “Little Boy Blue” was found in an antique Victorian children’s book and would be perfect for a nursery or children’s room. The nursery rhyme reads:
LITTLE BOY BLUE come blow your horn;
The sheep’s in the meadow, the cow’s in the corn.
“Where’s the little boy who looks after the sheep?”
“He’s under the hay-cock fast asleep.”
“Will you wake him?” “No, not I;
For if I do, he’ll be sure to cry!”
The color illustration is printed on satin photo paper, then framed behind glass in a brown frame with gold inside edge. The back is finished with craft paper and a sawtooth hanger.
