NOTE: These writing boxes are SECONDS and the price has been reduced accordingly. Imperfections may or may not include variations in the staining, wood coloring, scratches, minor issues with hardware, and other flaws (see photos for examples of possible issues). These items are antique reproductions, which contain some variations and imperfections. However some do not meet first quality standards or pricing (though the uniqueness and character still remain!). But they are perfect for the artisan who would like to fix them up a bit, or for someone who appreciates the distressed, worn look.

– Outside, closed measurements: 11″ long, 8-1/2″ wide, 5″ tall
– Five-compartment removable top tray, seven lower compartments and a built in paper holder in the lid
– Top tray, seven compartment depths are 1-1/8″.
– The back four compartments on the lower level are 3″(back) and 2-1/2″ (side dividers) deep. The front three compartments are 1-1/2″ deep.
– Black metal corner braces with brass rivets, hinges and lid latch.
