Description
This elegant Victorian couple all dressed up for the horse derby was originally painted as the focal point of the painter’s landscape painting of “The Derby” at Epsom Downs Racecourse, a famous English horse track. This painting hones in on the young couple and is perfect English country house decor, and a nod to the equestrian tradition. Reproduction print of the original work by English painter William Powell Frith (1819-1909)
