Our Lucy Bugg PRINTED sampler looks so genuine that it is difficult to tell it is actually printed and not the real thing.
The proverb recorded on the sampler, complete with misspelled words and backward letters, as is appropriate for a young girl just learning to sew and read, states:

to stand the storm of age and reach the skies.”
Our samplers are printed on archival paper and framed behind glass in your choice of frames. The back is finished with craft paper and a sawtooth hanger. Made in the USA.
