Our three-legged brass chart magnifier comes in a beautiful wooden box. The box is lined with felt and has a brass diamond inlay on the lid. This is a reproduction of an 18th century chart magnifier used by navigators to enlarge small detail on charts. The magnifier can be focused by turning the lens in its threaded holder.
